The "5th guy" is the person who doesn't wash his hands after using the restroom - unlike the roughly four out of five adults who do. Kim Painter from the Oct 8th issue of USA Today reports "that despite years of nagging by moms, doctors and health officials, many people still don't wash their hands often or well enough - and pay the price in colds, flus and stomach bugs. Handwashing is the most important thing people can do to reduce such illnesses, says the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention."
Correct way to wash your hands....
1. With soap and warm water
2. For at least 20 seconds
3. Covering your palms, fingers, wrists, nails and the backs of your hands
4. Before you cook or eat, put on a bandage or touch your eyes
5. After you use the restroom, blow your nose, cough, handle garbage, clean up after a pet or come in contact with someone who is sick.
